Project 'Protect our Longs' in Suriname
we are proud to oversee a remarkable project in Suriname focused on conserving 47,000 hectares of pristine tropical rainforest. This project aligns perfectly with our commitment to sustainability and environmental protection.
In Suriname, we are implementing a comprehensive conservation strategy that includes the integration of carbon credits. By preserving this vast rainforest, we generate carbon credits, which help offset carbon emissions and contribute to global efforts to combat climate change.
A portion of the revenue from these carbon credits is given back to the local community, supporting their development and ensuring that they benefit directly from the conservation efforts. This project exemplifies our dedication to creating a sustainable future and demonstrates how business can be a force for good.
